I keep getting nausea and I vomit every now and again, especially if I eat heavy or oily food.
A. This is due to acid induced damage to food pipe. You must avoid such foods and take proper advice from your doctor.

I have pain in my tummy and I vomit the food eaten more than a day ago.
A. Food should not remain in the stomach for more than 6-8 hours. If you are vomiting what you have eaten days ago, this means your stomach exit is blocked. You may require endoscopy and other tests.

A. This generally suggests narrowing of food pipe. You may need endoscopy.

A. This could be due to narrowing of the food pipe or at times due to failure of the valve at the lower end of food pipe to open. You may need endoscopy.

A. In medical language this is called odynophagia. This is due to ulcers in the food pipe. These ulcers are mainly caused by Cytomegalo virus, herpes virus or sometimes due to certain drugs like doxycyclin getting stuck in food pipe when taken lying down and without adequate water.
